Real names from the current site's Success Stories. Photography is a marked placeholder — rights aren't sorted, and inventing a student's face on a trust page would be the wrong way round.

Province

Province narrows only 16 of our 75 awards. The rest are Canada-wide or don't say, so we won't pretend to filter on it.

Type

Contests are draws, not applications. Kept separate so you can tell the difference.

Can you get it?

Three things. All of them have to be true.

  • You self-identify as First Nations, Inuit or Métis in Canada
  • You're full-time in high school, upgrading, or an accredited post-secondary or training program
  • You're not the child of an ATCO employee

We only know your year and province. These three are yours to check — we can't tell you if you qualify.

What it's for

ATCO supports First Nation, Métis and Inuit students across Canada in their quest for higher education. There are three awards, depending on where you are in school.

The amount has not been checked this cycle and the number of awards is not recorded. No one on our side has spoken to ATCO. Next check: 10 September.
